Why is this so important?

A friend of my family has suffered the loss of 3 family members to MND. Last year, after caring so amazingly for her Dad, she had to say her final goodbyes. He fought the disease so bravely and was an inspiration to so many.

Unfortunately, the bad news has continued within her family, and her beautiful sister is now fighting this awful disease.

So this is where I’m asking for your help…. Running a marathon has always been on my bucket list, but I never really thought I would be able to do it. I set myself the challenge and later found out that my cousin and her best friend were also running it for a cause very close to their hearts. I asked if I could help them to raise as much money as possible in memory or her amazing dad, her aunties, and in support of her exceptionally courageous sister and anybody else affected by MND.

Please get behind us!!! The training has been extremely physically and mentally challenging, but the thought of the courage people suffering from this disease are showing has been my inspiration to keep me going. The money raised through this race could help to find a cure or provide the treatments needed to ensure that other family’s do not have to suffer.
