Macy's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Story

Hi its me again,
Wanted to let you know I have decided to run the Rob Burrows Leeds Marathon in May. This time, I'll be alone but you know I love a challenge.
Most of you will now know of my family's connection with MND and why raising vital funds for the MNDA is so important to me.
I am doing this for all the people fighting this cruel disease, their determination along with families resilience will give me all I need to complete.
In addition to this I am running in memory of my besties Uncle Ern who passed away in January 2024 from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy which is a rare neurological disorder that affects body movements, walking, balance and eye movements. This is caused by damage to nerve cells in areas of brain that controls thinking and body movements.
Seeing PSP and the progression I found it very similar to MND and a cure needs to be found.
Any support would be incredible and I thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the MND Association. The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
By sponsoring me your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to the MND Association. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure, your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Thank you again
